You probably won’t have to worry about running out of storage space anytime soon. According to Google, “Workspace Individual” users will soon get access to more benefits, including improved email personalization for all users and increased storage space.
Users of the service, including freelancers and business owners, will soon receive a huge storage upgrade from 15GB to 1TB at no additional cost. Most Workspace individual customers won’t have to worry about outgrowing their Drive and Gmail storage space any longer. Users do not need to worry about opening a document and unintentionally exposing themselves to malware because Google Drive includes built-in security against malware, spam, and ransomware.
The organization claims that growing businesses need as much storage as feasible. Google also claims that Drive gives customers the ability to access their files “securely from any device.” Furthermore, it doesn’t hurt that Workspace Individual clients won’t use other services like Dropbox since they have so much storage. When it comes to buying more storage, the Tech giant wants to be the front-runner.
The previous maximum for each Google account was 15 GB, but you could buy more space to expand the limit. Users will now immediately receive the 1TB storage update. “Soon every Google Workspace Individual account will come with 1 TB of secure cloud storage. You don’t have to lift a finger to get the upgraded storage: Every account will be automatically upgraded from their existing 15 GB of storage to 1 TB as we roll this out,” stated Google’s blog.
Premium Meet, eSignatures in Google Docs, appointment scheduling, and flexible layouts in Gmail are just a few of the new features the company will be introducing along with the expansion of Workspace Individual. The Workspace individual plan is also coming to the Philippines, Finland, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Portugal, Greece, and Argentina, Vietnam, among other countries.
Google is also adding features to send emails to multiple recipients at once without compromising anyone’s privacy by keeping their privacy in mind. Sending out announcements and newsletters would be a fantastic use for this. Multi-send emails can use mail merge tags like @firstname so that each recipient gets a special email that feels like it was made especially for them.
